Monthly Meetings
Meetings are held
at 7:00pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the North Plains Fire Station, training
room, 31370 NW Commercial St, North Plains
Parking: On street, fire station parking lot (to left of builiding - NOT IN
FRONT OF ENGINE DOORS!!!!), and public parking on 314th Ave (1st left
after station).
The class is on Friday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 PM from October 1st through November 19th. It takes place at PCC's Rock Creek Campus Gym. Tuition is $79.00. The registration form can be downloaded here. You can also register online at www.pcc.edu/nc. If you register online, you will need the CRN for the course which is 44924.

The new site is under
development! Work crews have cleared brush and pruned trees along
the southern edge of the site..it's starting to look very park-like!
A portable toilet has been delivered, the road has a new layer of rock, the runway mat is delivered, and tractor work on the runways started. It's too dry to till the runway....we need some rain before we can proceed. With luck, tilling will occur over the Labor Day weekend.
The mat cannot be laid, nor can we fly, before the development permit is approved....dates unknown. The gate will be locked soon. All members will be provided the combination. No additional work parties scheduled at this time. We are waiting on the county.
